How does Mopitup do that?

At first glance – and second glance too – Mopitup looks a pretty ordinary and simple type of product.

And when you use it that's exactly what it is – simple to carry around with you, simple to use, simple to dispose of.

But first impressions aren’t always entirely right because Mopitup is a very high tech product – originally invented for the medical profession – which is extensively used in health services and hospitals in numerous countries around the world.  It has now been developed in the Mopitup form for use in commercial and industrial situations where leakage and spillage of water needs to be dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Mopitup consists of a special, very thin inner material with a porous surface on one side and a waterproof backing on the other.

On contact with water the inner material transforms into a gel that absorbs and captures the water and, it’s hard to believe unless you see it, but each Mopitup superabsorbent sheet will absorb 5 litres of water. The waterproof backing ensures added protection whilst absorption is taking place – which is very rapid.

The gelled water is completely drip-free and the two outer surfaces are strong and act as a ‘carrier bag’ for taking the gel away for disposal. Disposal can be in your normal waste as Mopitup is made from proven and environmentally safe materials.

Add the fact that it can be re-used time and again whilst it still has capacity and you really do have an amazing and practical product that saves money, time and trouble.

Seeing is believing
